Participating Service Providers
There are two main service providers involved in the Motor Bounty Scheme:
Accredited Service Providers
Accredited Service Providers make it simple for you to participate in the Motor Bounty Scheme by:
- verifying that motors offered to the scheme meet the bounty criteria;
- verifying motor user claims for operational Motor Bounty payments (as opposed to the lesser failed Motor Bounty);
- verifying when Bounty claims are payable (i.e. when new motor is in-service); and,
- managing bountied motors through to disposal.
Motor users may contract directly with Accredited Service Providers to assist with understanding and managing their motor stocks to enable full advantage to be taken of the Motor Bounty Scheme.
Where motors need to be transported to the Accredited Service Provider’s depot, the cost of transport lies with the motor user.
Note: Accredited Service Providers are often also motor suppliers.
